Guilderhaven, inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit that helps the animal community https://www.binomo-co.in/download. We provide low-cost spay/neuter, food, and medical intervention for the companion animals of New York residents and for wildlife. We also assist rescue organizations in this endeavor, with an emphasis on our local community. In 2013, we facilitated the spay/neuter of 806 cats! Along with the Cat Care Coalition (CCC), we started a low cost dog spay/neuter clinic in May 2009. As a result, we were able to spay/neuter 175 dogs in 2013! In addition, we continue to help place animals from private homes, rescue groups and animal shelters , speak to school groups, youth organizations, and church groups, and produce an educational coloring booklet. This booklet emphasizes the importance of responsible pet guardianship and humane behavior toward animals.
We expanded our program in 2010 and with the help of a $2500 grant from the Doris Day Animal Foundation and a $250 grant from Price Chopper Golub Foundation (in 2011 and 2012), assisted PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support) of the Albany Damien Society! We continued our goal in 2012 with the additional help of a $10,000 grant from the Wright Family Foundation! With this grant, we were able to continue assisting PAWS in providing spay/neuter and additional veterinary services for their clients' pets. Since the program’s inception in April of 2010, we have facilitated and paid for the spaying/neutering of over 70 cats and over 68 dogs! The Wright Family Foundation grant also allowed us to help individuals and families living below the poverty level in Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Montgomery, Fulton, Schoharie, and Saratoga Counties. These programs enable us in assisting these pet guardians in maintaining their responsibility to their companion animals while continuing their loving relationship http://www.binomo-co.in/download without the financial burden. In addition, we are helping decrease the number of unwanted and abandoned animals in the shelters and on the streets.
In 2013 we were awarded a $5000 grant from the William Gundry Broughton Charitable Private Foundation, Inc. and another $5000 grant from the Doris Day Animal Foundation for our low cost spay/neuter efforts in Schenectady, New York. Guilderhaven, inc. was also one of the recipients of a $1000 award from Hedley & Co, LLC a CPA form, located in Clifton Park.
2014 been equally successful with a generous grant from the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation, and generous private donations from our wonderful supporters. We are so grateful for their support and continue to strive to educate the public on the importance of humane pet guardianship.
This year we continue our work binomo app download pc with a $5000 grant from the Wright Family Foundation, a $1500 grant from the Community Foundation of New York, Affleck Family Fund, and a $250 donation from the Golub Foundation. We continue our mission in helping New York companion animals and rehabilitating wildlife as well as educating the public.
